Lots of thanks to Janna again for providing the information and congratulations on your new niece! Janna also sent me another picture of my grandpa Jack, this one is of Robert Newberry (on the left) and grandpa from 1953. They're carrying the springs off of a car. Imagine that, my grandpa, working on a car. Sounds like someone else I know.
Just for grins, I've included another picture of that someone else from 1959... like father like son.

Well, the new format is finally being posted. The website has taken a back seat to work and a newborn, but now is the best time to have a site right? I mean, what a better place than the web to show off all of Carissa's adorable pictures?
Well, if I can keep up with it, then it definitely is... but it's kind of like a chore. Not that I don't like to write or share pictures, but more of a thing I just forget to do. And if you ask my mom, she'll tell you that I always forgot to do my chores growing up!
In this post, I wanted to share with you some friendly information that was given to me by my second cousin, Janna Junkin. Now, until about two weeks ago, I didn't even know I had a second cousin named Janna Junkin. But through the miracles of electronic mail, I now not only know I have a second cousin, but I know tons of other information about my family! Janna is going to keep me updated too, as I understand that she may have a new niece over the weekend. Congratulations!
I wanted to thank Janna for the research she has done, for contacting me, and for, of course, sharing what she has found, including pictures of my grandpa from 1942. I'm posting one she sent from November of 1942. The other is of grandpa sitting on a Japanese zero that they rebuilt and repainted with American insignia. Most of you have already seen this on wildcherryracing.com, but I wanted to share again.

So my first moblog was a success. My next two failed miserably. The flex window support I was using turned out to only hold 50K of memory. Which means, that pretty much anything over 3 paragraphs in length, or anything with an image attached to it would basically disappear and not post.
So again, we reconfigured the website. This new format will mimic the functionality of www.wildcherryracing.com. And even though I won't be able to email my updates, I should be able to autosync my phone, so I'll still be able to write on the road. The true question is... will I?
